C1 is better for HDR and Dolby Vision, B2 is very slightly brighter. I'd rather get a C1 for a lower price; they are still around if you look.

This is a good price for so early in the B2 lifecycle. That bodes well for the C2 and G2 later. For those wondering, this is 95%+ as good as the C2. Main differences are:
- # of HDMI 2.1 inputs (2 here vs 4 on C2)
- B2 does not get as bright for HDR content
- C2 has slightly better picture processing

Here is the Rtings.com compare:
https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...shold=0.10

Keep in mind it is a deal of the day, so today only, but eventually you will be able to get it for this price again and cheaper if you are willing to wait.

LG OLEDs are the best on the market. Their regular TVs are junk. You can't compare their low-tier LEDs with their high-tier OLED stuff. That's apples and oranges.

I picked up a 55 C1 refurb for $899. I feel like it should be cheaper since a new B1 is $999! Still a good TV either way.

This. The Samsung isn't available at that price right now, and has many issues. As with most early adoption tech, it wasn't quite ready for primetime.

Checked Consumer Reports and the 55 inch C2 scored 86, C1 84, and the B2 80. The B2 only scored good for HDR while the C1 scored excellent and the C2 very good. The C2 scored excellent for sound quality while the other 2 very good. The C1 scored excellent for versatility while the other 2 very good.

Last year OLED 55 inch main models like the C1 was $1,300. We are already approaching that with some deals if you have like employee discounts etc. I strongly think oled 55s this year will be similar.

Amazon had this for $1,300 for awhile now. I would say -$300 off a bill is probably as good as it will get but you never know.

If you gotta have a 55 LG Oled I would wait to get a G1. I picked one up for $1000 when they were on sale a month ago.

Why not just grab a C1 with the Evo panel? There was a way iirc by looking up the serial number.
