That happened to me. What I did is I looked up to see if the Lego I bought was on the promo; it was. Then I looked on Amazon, and Amazon is price matching Target via a coupon that applies at checkout. I contacted Target for a price match since it was within their 14 days. Took only about 3 minutes on chat. Just price match via your order number, you don't need the item physically there.

Let's say you bought your first set for your niece in Alaska, but you live in Florida. Buy the same set in Florida then use the first receipt to return that second purchase in Florida. Your niece will still have her set, your first purchase will be refunded, and you'll have the $10 giftcard from the second purchase.
