There's a reason no reputable IEM reviewer is recommending Westone in 2022. Slickdeals Staff posts them all the time though because they get a cut of the sales.
But if this still seems like a lot of money to spend on earbuds or you are unsure you need Westones, try these first [amazon.com]. If you don't like the KZ ZAS, return them and hop on a Westone or Shure deal. There's a good chance you'll be faced with a dilemma - that being what to do with the $180 you saved. Seriously, some of the "chi-fi" headphones available now are truly impressive and pack a lot of technology for incredible prices. I demand quality, but I also have a bad history with breaking, losing, and having headphones stolen, so it's a little easier for me to stomach $50-$100 a pop, especially when they sound as good as the upper tier KZs.

I have W40 as well and they are really really nice set of earphones. W60 are better.
Westone had what is called as their house sound. It may not be perfectly transparent but it's quite resolving with wide Soundstage. They boost the lower and upper frequencies making the sound a bit of V shaped. If you want true transparency then these are not for you. But their signature is quite appealing to most people for most genres of music.
FYI, 60 stands for 6 balanced armature drivers in each ear.

Audio is very subjective so I won't crap on anyone who likes these, but I would never recommend Westone products as a blind buy.
Here's a graph of a popular ~$180 ChiFi headphone vs the W60.

It doesn't take an audiophile to know something is amiss. There's a reason they've been discounting their stuff and including a BT adapter, they're no longer competitive in the current market.
The people who ask about active noise cancellation on these are the people who think that brands like Bose are high end audio. 🤦🏻 ♂️
That seem really good to get the new Mach 60 albeit a bit of back and forth. Was there anything wrong with yours or just wanted it to be serviced? Thanks

Do you have 1st hand experience comparing the 2? Could you please Tell me why you think the mack is better thank you.
I snapped off the cylinder piece that the earpiece goes on to right at the base. I called westone to ask if I try to reattach it with super glue if that would void the warranty and they said no. Fortunately these have a 2 year warranty and I still have time to decide. I haven't tried using super glue yet. Obviously if I get glue inside I do void warranty. I did order a second set After this thread popped up.
Thx OP
