Also streaming is included as well for all Sirius packages. So you can use this with your phone. Or even better is using with Alexa or google speakers. "Hey google play (channel name or number) on Sirius XM' and it will play. Perfect for when you have company over and want background music. Or for me I use it for music during the day working.
First offer, was $4.99 mo + fees for each radio. I think it was $71 total each. I said no and asked for a 3 year or preferably 5 year offer. I was placed on hold for the agent to discuss with his "team".
Second offer, was 3-year $99 for the 2012 vehicle. Original offer was the same on the 2020 vehicle saying the offer was good only on 2015 and older vehicles. I asked to elevate it and the agent said that was the team discussion and it would be the same offer. I said we wanted to cancel.
The final offer was 3-year $99 for the 2012 vehicle and $60 flat for the 2020 vehicle. I was tempted to take it but I didn't. I like having both vehicles on the same plan, expiring the same time.
The agent proceeded to cancel our service but it is good through early 2023. I was thinking about trying another chat session tonight but I think I'll call tomorrow instead.
I received the emails for cancelling the service. One email said March 2023 for the 2012 vehicle and the other said TODAY for the 2020 vehicle! I had originally asked to get out of the service the end of this billing cycle which was early November.
I hopped on chat again and asked about the cancellation dates. The agent verified both subscriptions would end in March 2023.
I said to the agent, since I'm already chatting with you, may I ask for you to double check on our eligibility on the 5-year $149 plan? He said he would check. After several minutes he said higher support said that promo had expired. I thanked him for checking.
I asked about the 3-year $99 deal and if it would be possible to move up the cancellation at the end of this billing cycle. Also before he could reply, I asked when did the 5-year $149 promo expire?
Well I'll be damned he came back with the 5-year $149 offer + fees. I verified that the offer was good on each vehicle (2020 and 2012) and if it was transferable. He said yes. I took the deal and I'm hopefully set for 5 years.
During 5PM, the most important time for listening to the radio on your way home from work, you will hear radio hosts talk for 10 minutes at a time in-between songs, because apparently their egos are more important than the music that they are playing on their given station.
Stations will repeat the same songs over and over again. You better be REALLY eclectic with your music because if you only listen to (insert music genre) you will hear the same songs repeat over a day to day basis. Even if you only listen to a station for less than an hour with all the commercial breaks, hosts talking, etc. It's super old school. It's not like Spotify, Apple Music, etc. You can't select individual songs or artists. You can't play a "custom playlist". You just hear music chosen by a radio host just dying to talk to you about their life at any moment.
For music it's pretty terrible. If you like to listen to other people talk, you might find this service fantastic. They do have a dedicated fantasy football station. Pretty nice for getting updates on players/situations. I couldn't find anything else worth it to be honest. I could see value if you are the type of person who is traveling constantly since you could listen to radio broadcasts of live sports games (but who wants that when you can get live video feeds of the actual games via Mlb.tv or NFL's streaming app, etc). It's pretty outdated. For people who lived in the "black and white TV era" and listening to the radio at home will find this very nostalgic I can imagine.

the DJ talking can happen but it depends on the station. some stations have constant DJs some dont have any. also some have DJs at certain times and some never have them. agreed on the same music thing repeat which can happen which is why i preset like 30 ish stations i like and cycle through them as needed.
you also forgot to mention they sometimes have LIVE band shows (like on BPM Channel 51 ) and special DJs. like "chainsmokers" have a show on bpm where they give some insight behind the scenes and other stations have special hosts too of old celebrities .
also if you are referring to KIIS station (this is a rebroadcast of a california station with full ads etc ) and is NOT a sirius station. that one channel can have commercials .
'and no shit its not like spotify or apple music. its radio... i have google music and can play whatever song i want but its nice cycling through and hearing songs i might not have found or to hear a live DJ play a set (BPM does exclusive dj set music friday and saturday) . you have to give it a real try.
and the benefit is it can work where you dont have cell signal and dont feel like using your phone to play music. and for $5/month for all that its worth it.

Bought a new car just needed my email for 3 years free, still didn't do it, for free. Cancelling they will bend you over, shove free service up ur back door, pass you around for long periods, spit in your mouth, question you until they hang up on you before you can cancel.
Worst customer service I've ever been apart of, and I was a part of Moviepass roll out.
Won't miss you when you finally run out of people to milk
Much better than the other deal @ $6/mo for a year after fees, etc. that get's posted here every week.
