FYI, there's some other BS fee attached that ends up making the total $120ish. That said we did this last go around, I don't regret it.

Could you set it up on an older car and move it over? Both my cars are 2020 and 2022, but maybe I could leverage a car at my parents house

SiriusXM is really, really trying hard to not earn my business. For decades. Hopefully they will be out of business soon.

I got this offer through chat on an old vehicle (07) and wanted to transfer the subscription to a newer vehicle (18), but it gave me the error message "We're sorry, but we are either unable to complete this transaction online or your subscription plan is ineligible to transfer. For assistance, please chat with an agent or call 855-227-6738 to speak with a Listener Care agent."

The 2018 vehicle had a trail subscription which I canceled earlier today. I also removed it from my account. Did I miss any step to transfer the subscription? Anyone has done the transfer by calling?
This is my biggest fear. I don't plan on keeping my 2017 vehicle for three more years. One agent told my 3 year plan WAS NOT TRANSFERABLE. Another agent later on told me "they would work with me." Hopefully some one will be able to successfully transfer to another vehicle and explain how they did it

Kind of ridiculous that when you "explore plan details" for a "music and entertainment" plan it doesn't tell you that Stern isn't included. It doesn't tell you at all what stations are included.

Sirius has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life, and if I felt like ranting more I could spend hours writing about how awful they are.

This is part of the deal, you sign up agreeing you will chat with the horrible customer service and do the song and dance if you want to cancel or extend you membership at a reasonable price after your original agreement.

I had XM… and then moved to SiriusXM. I got so tired of calling every few months threatening to cancel to get the best discounted price. Once they started having the "DJ" talking all the time or commercials on commercial free siriusXM. I was out. The premium Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon music, hell even pandora is better!!

0-2 on chat, and tried calling. That was even worse. She claimed the offer expired in early October and clearly didn't even look into it. I cancelled.

This is exactly what I asked about earlier in the thread pondering whether that was the reason the 3 and 5 year deals were restricted to older vehicles hoping they died but someone said that it was transferrable so I don't know. I never asked the company myself.

I have a 2019 Malibu. I chatted with Sirius to cancelled and told them about this $99 deal. After trying to convince me that I wouldn't qualify I said I want to cancel and wait to see what deals are offered later. They finally came back with here is the $99 offer for you and the breakdown in fees. SO the deal can be had by anyone if you are persistent, I guess. I did this through their chat.

It may have to do with the fact that older vehicles don't have Android Auto or Carplay which really make sirius streaming much easier to use. Just a guess.

Or they may figure if you drive a late model car you can afford the extra $2 a month.
