FYI this is the basic plan; no Howard for those who care.

FYI, there's some other BS fee attached that ends up making the total $120ish. That said we did this last go around, I don't regret it.

I have a new car. I chatted with them and told them I wanted 3 yrs for $99. They immediately put me to a "specialist" and gave me the deal. No hassle.

I canceled my sub about a month ago because they wouldn't renew me in my 2019 with this offer. Chatted today and they said no again car was too new, offered something else to which I said no to, asked for me to hold and gave me the offer.

Literally had to cancel my account. They kept giving me headache saying that my vehicle had to be older than 2012 which mine is a 2013. Even though I seen posts saying that the car had to be older than 2015. I went through multiple back and forth with multiple supervisors and spoke to a supervisor two days ago who refused to give it to me. Then finally got somebody today who promised me he would be the last person I would speak to and he ended up giving it to me. This really is a headache process but it can be done this plan is still available and now I'm good for the next 3 years instead of having to do this song and dance every 6 months.

For what it's worth, I have a 2022 Hyundai. While my account was still active last month under the $5 monthly promo I tried to get this deal through chat at least three different times and was shot down, saying I didn't qualify and my car with too new, etc., etc.etc.

I finally told them to cancel my account to see if that changed my luck at all. After a few more last ditch attempts to keep me, I didn't bite and said no please cancel my account.

My account finally expired and service stopped on Thursday, April 6th. The next day I got on chat again and told them I would only reactivate my account under the $99 three year promo. The first agent gave me the same lines as previous but then I tried a second time right after I ended the chat with the first agent. The second person on chat immediately gave me the $99 offer without me having to beg. I was in and out of that chat for less than five minutes and now I'm happily on the $99 three year plan.

I guess the moral of the story is to keep trying and be persistent and sooner or later you'll get a helpful agent either through chat or by phone. It depends how badly you want it and how much time you're willing to invest

Total $127.50 with taxes and fees.

They are offering me for $135... ($99 + tax + "US Music Royalty Fee"). Not sure about that "mandatory" fee as some ppl got the 3 years for $120 all in.

I can usually get them to waive the fee but this time around they absolutely wouldn't budge and I just didn't feel like fighting more LMAO

If you're currently on a monthly subscription just go through the cancellation process.
It will prompt you to chat with an agent in order to cancel. Tell the agent you received an email about the $99 for 3 years and if they ask for the email address give them one that's not associated with your account. They'll then run through the TOS and Plan Details and charge the card on file. (Very easy for me but each agent is different and you may have to threaten to cancel) You'll also receive a credit for the # of days left in your monthly plan.

My sub ended ~2 months ago, and I tried to get this deal and was denied. I have a 2015 vehicle.

I got the $99 for 3 year plan today. Here were my steps:

1. Went to https://care.siriusxm.com/subscribe/checkout/flepz?programcode=36FOR99SELECT&tbview=DM&upcode=U60FOR... [siriusxm.com]

2. Entered my Radio ID and Acct # from when my account was active.
3. After submitting this, the website gave me a $7/month deal, not the $99/3 year deal.
4. In the corner of the webpage, I hit "help/chat" button.
5. My request in chat was "I would like the $99/3 year plan specified here: https://care.siriusxm.com/subscribe/checkout/flepz?programcode=36FOR99SELECT&tbview=DM&upcode=U60FOR... [siriusxm.com]
6. After a while, the chat person said that deal was for cars who were from 2010 or older, but they'd be happy to tell me about other GREAT plans.
7. My response was "No thanks. I will only subscribe using the $99/3 year terms. Please contact your supervisor."
8. They said, "I will check with higher support." After a few minutes, they came back with $99/3 year was OK. Yay.
9. With fees, it was $128 for 3 years. They sent chat messages with the subtotal and all terms, to which I had to write "I agree" ..

The whole chat took about 40 minutes -- LOTS of waiting for them to respond -- but all in all, I didn't have to do much besides a few typed responses, as shown above.

Hope this helps someone!

We bought a used car that had a SiriusXM sub active on it. That expired last week. I called the Sirius phone number today and the rep said the radio did not qualify for this 3 years for $99 plan. He absolutely would not budge. We have never had a Sirius account in the past. I then clicked the links in the post above mine and when I tried to look up account by address it did not work since we have never had an account. The website then offered me the chat option.

I simply told the chat rep that I had a friend that recently signed up for the 36 months for $99 deal and I wanted the same on the used car we bought. Rep at first came back with a 12 months for $99 offer and the normal monthly options. I told them that I was only interested in the 36 months for $99 plan I knew about. I politely asked if their supervisor could approve it.

Less than 5 minutes later they came back and had approval for the plan. Total price with taxes / fees was $121 and it is up and working. Thanks everyone for the information in this thread!

I have been looking at this for a while but never qualified. Today decided to try through chat. Had no issues at all, just asked for the advertised $99 for 3 years deal and they set me up.

I tried this deal and they came back with $180 (including fees) for 3 years of Platinum. Ended up taking that for sports+Howard. Kind of the standard $60 a year deal but a bit cheaper, I think (with the fees included) and I don't have to deal with renegotiating for another 3 years...

My subscription is up in a few weeks, so I went and contacted them in an attempt to try to get this 3 for $99 deal. Nope. No amount of asking will seem to get it done. I'll keep trying and will see if I can do it, but if I can't- I'm going to try to let it expire- because I truly dread having to go through this process every year.
