Due to a data breach that affected 80 million T-Mobile customers, you can get $25 with no proof ($100 in California). The deadline to file a claim is January 23, 2023 when the class action is set to expire.

The range is estimated to be from $25 to $25,000 depending on the losses claimed. If you opt for a cash payment you will receive an estimated $25.00. If you reside in California, you will receive an estimated $100.00. Out of pocket losses can be reimbursed for up to $25,000.00.

did you enter a name or email? They must have your email on file already, so you don't have to fill out a form?

Small consolation for the 100-s of minutes they stole from my acct. when they replaced my phone for the 5g upgrade.

Thanks, I had no issues getting a claim number and filling out the form once.
I have 7 T-Mo lines, so it would be nice if I can claim on all of them.

If you're affected, you will receive a notice at your registered email "in several weeks."

Says the same for me. Keep us updated and I will do the same.

Btw I feel our info is worth more than $25-$100?

Anyone remember the Equifax breach that affected like 170 million Americans and everyone was supposed to get $200? What happened to that?

I would think if it's one email then you can only do one per account, but if you have different emails for different lines, probably you can do each one.

On the claim form there is a way to add multiple numbers.

Same happened to me but I hit submit a second time afterwards and received the claim number instantly to my email.

got this when I tried to submit the form- "We have your email on file, lookout for notice in the upcoming weeks" . Looks like I just have to wait.

If anyone got the claim Id, can you tell me the subject of the email so I can keep an eye on it, Thanks in advance

I suggest that everyone who has actually had their PII exposed by this leak submit the exclusion form instead. I had my SSN, DOB, and DL nbr all leaked by this event and I will want to retain the option to sue in the future. Don't let T-Mobile get away with this so bloody easy.

Edit: Preempting the question, it is clear this leak was from a very old data set (2002-2004 era). Been with TMobile since they purchased VoiceStream in 2001, I think. And I never signed an arbitration clause way back then. So the instant I find some funny business on my CRs I am lawyering up.

I already have Identity Theft monitoring for life (thanks Department of Defense /s), so $25 is $25
