No, Colin's right. It's a great TV, but not the best money can buy. It's not just semantics.

Anyway, 1-2 months to ship. By then, it might be lower priced. It was $650 on Amazon a month ago. So, not so slick.

Just to further your point. This is absolutely the best non OLED TV you can buy as it sits basically equal to the Samsung QN90B as per RTINGS.com. It even is better in some categories and is an equal 8.6 for mixed usage. The highest non OLED score that has been awarded. (See attached image)

Sure you can say "For the money" but it is more than that. It's not only the best for the money, but it's just darn basically one of the best TVs period.

However, I don't agree with you that the price isn't slick. Sure it was $650 recently, but I don't know that they'll go that low again for some time now that they know what sort of banger they have on their hands. It's going to become the most talked about television of 2022, and now that it's in people's homes they can keep the price a bit higher; closer to their MSRP.

What broken features? As someone who would buy this almost exclusively for Series X/PS5 games in my office, I have only read good things on this TV. Curious as to what I've missed

I saw this but this guy is the only reviewer and tester who has said anything about this and it seems to me there is possibly an issue with his setup. He clearly uses a splitter to show both TVs at the same time. I myself have had this happen when you introduce other devices into the signal chain.

He is a professional certified calibrator, I don't believe someone like that wouldn't know what they are doing. RTings had similar findings as well, as well as FOMO, and other well known reviewers.

You could always get the TV and see for yourself with the current Hisense guarantee though.

Professionals make mistakes all the time, but your claims that these other reviewers are showing the same data is interesting because I didn't see that when going g through their reviews. I'll have to take another glance for sure.

For my usage it is no big deal but I will hope for an update that fixes it.

Edit: wow clear as day right there on rtings. let's hope for an update that addresses this.

Not sure why you'd get a down vote for telling the truth. Great value, great TV, but definitely not a top gaming pic. I hope they can patch to fix the posterization and banding.

I think because of the price people don't want to hear the truth. :/ Just trying to help those out who may not know.
