as a common sense, I would not recommend anyone to do charcoal grill indoor. If you live in a rental and do this indoor, you may violate your rental agreement and get kicked out of the place sooner than you think

Reviews say 12" x 16" main cooking grill. 5" x 15" warming grate. Not bad, perhaps even plenty, for a portable/condo-balcony grill.

I have this and it works great for two people. I can easily fit 2 steaks and potato boats. The best part is that you can store it just about anywhere and it doesn't take up alot of room. Also easy to clean up.

Even without rules, it's unsafe for a reason. Anything with flame almost always recommended NOT under any ceiling, roof, etc. Easy for an out of control flame to catch fire.

Why apts almost always prohibit on patio/balcony.

Plus the obvious CO

You just need adequate ventilation.

For good measure, ensure you have a carbon monoxide and smoke detector nearby.

Walmart in-store clearance (so YMMV, of course) also had Expert Grill portable propane grill for $11.00.
Regular price is only $34.xx, I believe.

Dude charcoal grills emit embers of hot coal below the grill & above the grill in the air when top is opened. It's insane for anyone suggesting this can be used indoors with ventilation. No charcoal grill should ever be used indoors.

I wonder how the Japanese and Koreans do their indoor barbecues. They must all be grilling outdoors.

And when they do they use charcoal smokeless grills which emit the smoke through an exhaust system through the bottom of the grill & ventilates it out of the restaurant with an internal fan. It's a very specialized commercial grill.

Right, so adequate ventilation. Back to square one.
