as a common sense, I would not recommend anyone to do charcoal grill indoor. If you live in a rental and do this indoor, you may violate your rental agreement and get kicked out of the place sooner than you think

Right, so adequate ventilation. Back to square one.
Show use your "adequate ventilation" setup for a charcoal grill used inside a residence.

Buy a weber smokey joe for 45.99 [walmart.com]. It's been around for 50 years and beats all others. Unfortunately they moved production to China but I'm guessing this other one is made in China too.

I had an older version of this. They upgraded the plates which are now cast iron which is cool, but the rest of it is the same old material. It's thin and the screws will need re-tightening every so often. In general it's not a very durable product.

I don't need this, but I kinda want it anyway. I really like the aesthetic and size.

He's clearly never used a charcoal grill because if he did he'd know that charcoal grills like this one frequently emit hot ash embers into the air above the grill when the top is open which if used indoors even with ventilation could easily catch drapes or others fabrics on fire fast. They say ignorance is bliss 🫠

It's a ventilation hood with fire suppressant ready to spray down in case there is a fire

If you use this near drapes or anything that can catch on fire, you just a dumbass. Why not use it on your bed?

Let's play "what's worse...?"

A stray fragment of smoldering coal popping out/falling out of a grill inside you house, onto the carpet, rug, wood or vinyl flooring, cloth/vinyl furniture, etc,..or....
a stray fragment of smoldering coal popping out/falling out of a grill onto your outdoor patio?

Where's that "adequate ventilation" setup you have for indoor charcoal grills?
