Woot! is selling the iRobot Robot Vacuums ((Factory Reconditioned) from $129.99 - $399.99 Free shipping for Amazon Prime Members, otherwise it's a flat $6 shipping rate. Woot! is an Amazon company.
Out of interest was it much cheaper on black Friday? I want to pull the trigger but can wait the few weeks
It was $249 but Ebay had a 15% off coupon. So I paid $220 or so. It also had a Ebay 2 yr warranty too. But. It's works great in our upstairs.
If you have two levels like we do in our cape cod. It's a no brainer.
We have the i7 with the emptying on the first floor. And the i7 without the emptying on th e second floor. Our second floor is easier to clean and smaller. So it works out great.
The refurb 630 is available for $129.99 via iRobot's Ebay store, with 2 years warranty. Much better than the 90 days from Woot. Looks like the iRobot Ebay storefront has other models too.
Roombas are really modular. At least the ones I have seen. So you're able to replace only what you need if you're able to diagnose the issue.
There are 2 roombas in my household and neither have been utilized in the past 5 years. Because you still need to vacuum. What's the point of letting a little robot run around knocking stuff over if you're going to have to vacuum almost just as much. Granted I have always had dogs and cats. If you were only dealing with human hair, and no carpet, I could see you getting away with only vacuuming corners and behind furniture once a week.
How is this brand/model compared with the wyze one that they said using Lidar? I have it as my first robot vacuum and I'm really frustrated with it keep messing up the map and had to remap every other run or so...
