You can, but not for too long. I got a stress injury training in these. It was only a few days before the race.
Spend a bit more for your daily running shoe. Cycle them often and keep your oldest pair as a spare. These aren't worth the injury risk. Also, you might find some okay running shoe advice and deals at runrepeat.com

These look good for trail shoes. I love trails but I made a rule that I won't run unless something is chasing me. And it has to be bigger than me.

Streak runner for year+ (not that type of streaker) there's times when you need to run in boots.
