This isn't terrible, if it was the new price I would buy one. The problem with b stock is you only get a one year warranty and you aren't really sure why it came back. In the case of the 3090, memory issues, you kind of cross your fingers and hope they were sorted if someone was mining on the card and cranking up the memory frequency. Personally I don't think anyone is going to have a problem buying 40 series. The largest purchaser of video cards by a New York mile is now out of the running. No more eth pow. It's basically back to pre 2016 demand levels more or less
evga is getting out of the gpu business. buyer beware.
Wait for 50 series, lol price will drop by then.

What was that thing about "GPUs going down in price is a thing of the past"?

But considering Nvidia's claims that the new "4070" is waaaay faster at this same price...

True - I'm too frugal to probably spend the money on it though (a 3090TI that is). I have a 3080 and it's great and will probably wait another year or three to upgrade.

I grabbed a 3080 ti last time they were $729. I've had the card about a week and no issues.

Take Nvidia's claims with a grain of salt:

https://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-rt...-let-down/

I was sure I was finally upgrading my 1070 with a 4070 until I started seeing reports like these.
