I fail to see how less then 50% off regular price on open box or refurbished items with such high markup as headphones is a great deal. Seems what I would expect a regular open box price on this type of thing to be discounted to

My offer for $170 got accepted, seems like they are desperate to get rid of them. So I would lower your offers and worse case scenario is they counter offer or reject and you resend a slightly higher one.

To clarify, the $400 strike-through price is what the current price for new headphones is. Not what refurbished ones are typically worth. I fail to see how less then 50% off regular price on open box or refurbished items with such high markup as headphones is a great deal. I think it's just because it's a fairly new product. I'm sure the price will be lower in the future, but since these are only a few months old, discounts aren't huge yet

oh ok, I noticed secondipity sells them for 149.99 used and 199 refurbed. Was debating getting them myself but I went an offered 200 for the XM5 and see if they accept it.

From the reviews I've seen. the xm4 has a better portable design and possibly better noise cancelling. unsure really.

The xm4 definitely are more portable, the xm5s have a little better noise cancellation. The x5m battery life though, is miles better

I went ahead and offered 200 for the open box. They were posted for 250 and they accepted. So I'll see how the XM5 work
