Be weary of using the Target Red Card as you don't earn 5% reward on Target Gift Cards.

My $200 gift card purchased from Christmas deal suddenly became $1 in march. Target gift card support says it is geniune in store transaction made 1200 miles away from my place. My account is not compromised and i never went to that city. I was told that there is no fraud protection on these gift cards

This is more like 5% off, because using the Redcard gives you 5% off already.

Or you can purchase the gift card, wait until black friday/cyber monday. Get a chunk of your Christmas shopping done at Target for a reasonable built-in discount.

I had this happen to me with a $300 gift card. I stopped shopping there for a while but started again recently and use up those $5 gift with purchase gift cards the same day now. Never again dealing with gift cards at target. They clearly have a flaw that they can't seem to fix.

So true! Invest now! Invest heavy!

Invested everything in VDE at $30 during the Covid meltdown. Came back to $120 about a year later.
