Thanks, nice deal. I recently bought a pair of Moab's and had to go a half size up so I did the same with the low Alverstone. I have a pair of the Jungle Moc's which I really like but because I didn't size up they are a bit tight.

Funny, I bought a pair of the MOAB 2s in my size in a recent deal from Academy Sports and they fit perfectly. Depends on what kind of socks you're going to wear with them, I guess. I have other boots I sized up so I could wear heavy socks with them. A half size only adds about ⅛" of space at the heel and toe.

Merell's aren't true to size so not a shoe to buy online. One of my feet is 9.0 the other 9.5 and size 10 Merells are too tight to wear for more than a short while... They also tend to be much less comfortable than comparable TNF or Solomon shoes I've owned.

That may be your experience but it wasn't mine. Very strange. Have you ever actually measured the length of your feet?
Also, most people's feet get longer and wider as they age... especially if they are carrying extra weight. A half size only adds ¼" overall.

have at least a half dozen pairs of merrills and they are perfectly true to size for me, each pair of mine is the same size and fits the same.
