Obviously frequent users of sites like this don't buy at MSRP, but I think it might be possible that you didn't objectively look at the construction of the shoe.
Even Van's with canvas in the upper MSRP for $65. I think you are living in the past on prices, and I want to come live with you ol' timer.

These will not be as comfortable as they are an older design of sneaker, but they will be comfortable for what they are. Better than Van's or off-brand skateboard shoes.

These would be great for skateboarding or mountain biking on flat pedals.
