A B-stock 3090 by EVGA is still $776. This thing trades blows with a 3090. Isn't the power draw less than the 3090? I can't imagine or justify Ray Tracing worth a $200+ premium at this point.
my thoughts exactly. ray tracing may be the future but with the current implementation, am not quite sold on it to require it for my gpu.

I could buy this right now.
But I'm gonna wait for black Friday at this point when the top tier GPU's from both AMD and Nvidia are available and not to mention intel's A770.
These price drops are exactly what everyone who says "hold" have been saying, and I still think it will fall further.
After Nvidia's launch of the 4090, I'm going to try to hold out for the 7900xt, personally.

Here is some power draw info about this vs 3090. I saw that deal didn't bite either. I wanted lower power, cheaper, and really most of these cards after the 6800xt/3080 are all about the same real world. It wouldn't be worth a 30% premium. The existence of that card is yet another reason i found this generation so weird.

I guess it s' better than next generation (40 series ) where they solved the problem the other way. They removed all the value cards, and are just going insane everything is an overpriced 4080 now. So i guess the you buy the 4090 if you want to do that (i wont' be buying any of those products until they are under 600 either). Nvidia can go kiss something where the sun don't shine.

Almost bought this but I don't think it will fit in my "Lian Li Tu 150-WA Silver Aluminum Mini-ITX Computer Casetx Computer Case" anyone think this will fit inside it?
How big is your current card? Every decently priced GPU I've seen here in the past two months has been too big for my case. I know for sure this particular 6900 XT won't fit in mine.

For my case I think it's 11.5"-12" max. I'm keeping my eye on the 6800 XT below (it's only 11.25").

For promo paste this zipfest22

then when you pay pick zip pay.

if you get denied you probably have a credit lock like i did. It's experian they are using. Unfreeze your credit for a day and then may the purchase. The price you see at check out is all you pay. It's instant. If you just get approved you should probably go freeze your credit by the way Smilie Everyone should.

Zip is some payment thing where you make 4 payments instead of one. probably for people that want to spread out a purchase for some reason.

anyway. I just paid all 4 payments right away. I looked though my bank records and read all the fine print. i believe each payment costs 1 dollar so technically you save 96.

i love the hussle of newegg to work a deal the hussle is clear.

Also your case on Amazon says max GPU 320mm, which is 12.59". This GPU is 340mm, so it won't fit, unfortunately.

Because I don't play any games that involve raytracing or DLSS, I would buy an AMD product as it's going to cost less and draw less power, thereby resulting in better cooling in my gaming PC.

This card at $570 would literally be less than 60% of the MSRP price of an AIB card too. I am just thinking about the video game crash in the mid 80s when Atari flooded the market with too many ET game carts. This isn't the same of course because these are kind of tools to run games. The way I see the market going, the AMD cards are the ones to look out for on discounts and price drops. I see the 6900XT still dropping but probably up to $529 or $499 before rebates and coupons at best. and that would be on the worse brands like Yeston or ASRock. The top brands like Sapphire will probably only go as low as $550. These companies are technically already losing money at these prices. I say, any deal lower than $550 either with a coupon, rebate, or credit card coupon/sign up deal is good enough to me.
