Hello fellow SDers!
It's that time of year - time for the SD Lounge Secret Santa!
This is an annual tradition that started in 2006 and has run every year since. It's pretty simple: You join, get partnered with another SD member, and you buy gifts for them. Another SDer is your SS, and they do the same for you!
If you're interested in participating, please post in this thread, and then PM me your address. Even if you signed up in previous years, please PM me your address so I don't have to go searching for it.
I'll keep signups open until 11/13/22. That gives you almost a month to sign up, get your questionnaires filled out, etc. Don't delay!
The rules:
1. You must have been a SD member for at least 6 months with at least 1000 posts or 100 reps to participate. Sorry n00bs.
2. If you participate, you must send a gift to your assigned person. Don't be that person that ruins the fun for the rest. Santa does not want to leave coal in your stocking on Christmas!
3. Please fill out your questionnaire as completely as possible! Being cryptic just makes it harder for your SS to shop for you. We want you to enjoy your gifts!
4. There will be a $35 limit for purchases, (yes, this is a change from previous years) plus any applicable shipping charges. We're slickdealers - we know how to find some bargains. Use the site to your advantage!
5. Please ship your gifts no later than December 9 to hopefully ensure Christmas delivery.
6. When you ship, please use a service that has tracking (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc), and please PM me the tracking number(s) after you've shipped you gift. Insurance is not required but highly recommended in case your package gets lost. If you send items directly from a vendor such as Amazon, that's fine, just please PM me tracking numbers.
7. After you have signed up, please PM me the address where you want your gifts shipped.
8. Wrapping your gifts to your SS is optional.
9. Remember to shop and ship as safely as possible!
10. Please PM me when you have received your gifts so I can ensure everyone got theirs!
11. If you will be unable to ship by Dec 9, please PM me as soon as possible. Life happens. We've all been there. We'll work it out.

Anywho my Secret Santa sent me a Metallica t-shirt, a bag of coffee, some holiday socks, a box of espresso chocolate praline candy, and two note pads (One says Naughty list, the other says Nice list).
I'll try to post a pic again later. Who broke SD?
So the box comes bein' all cool with stuff like "Her Excellency" and "Don't Smite Me" on the outside
So when I opened it there were 2 boxes of Mike and Ike, which, were gone before I took the pic this morning
The stuff I waited to open until yesterday, holy crap, I don't know who you are but I love you.
A Golden Girls Blanket! It's super soft and fluffy on one side and I saw that first and thought "oh man, this is a soft blanket, I love it" then I opened it and the whole other side is Golden Girls stuff!!!
And then A Golden Girls notepad set with a Golden Girls pen and holy cow, I love it.
And then...AND THEN...A John Stamos Bobble Head!
Thank you so so SO much SS. You helped make my Christmas so happy and awesome and I appreciate all the thought you put into it
