Turtle Beach [turtlebeach.com] is offering massive discounts on their most popular headsets (these codes are sitewide too so they work with any headset on the Turtle Beach site). this is a better deal (and headset) than the SteelSeries 7X deal i posted yesterday.

Use promo code: TURTLEBEACHBLOG10 at checkout (DOC also appears to work sitewide except for the 600 Gen 2 Max)

After discounts (not including cashback):

Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max (Black) [turtlebeach.com] = $98.96 + tax
Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max (Red) [turtlebeach.com] = $98.96 + tax

Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max (Black) [turtlebeach.com] = $179.96 + tax
Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max (Cobalt Blue) [turtlebeach.com] = $179.96 + tax

This is the #1 series of headsets for multiplatform compatibility. Works on PC, Switch, Xbox Series/One, PS5/PS4, Mobile, etc...

for those of you wondering what the differences are between both headsets look at the 2 links below but the TLDR is the 700 has Bluetooth and mobile app while the 600 has longer battery life with the 700 being the overall better one of the two but not by much and certainly not worth the extra $81 just for slightly better headset that just has bluetooth and mobile app.

if you don't need both PS5 and Series/One you can just get the non max version for the platform you need and save lots of money with new or refurbished options by looking for the one you need on the site and using the same promo codes.

Best Buy and Amazon also has the 600 Gen 2 Max discounted but without the additional savings from the promo code so i'm just mentioning them in case these sell out from the Turtle Beach site.

even though i'm the one posting this deal i'm having a hard time picking between the 600 Max and the 700 Xbox (Refurbished) since i have both PS5 and Series X but i already have 2 Void Pros that also work on PS5.

Edit: i ended up going with the 600 Gen 2 Max for $105.89 with tax.

Despite it's occasional quirks, the gen 2 700s are pretty solid. If you've got more than one console, I'd go Max. Otherwise, keep the money. They've given them extra battery life, but I'm more than satisfied with the battery performance on the non Max version.

I have always enjoyed TB products having the 600 and 700 series GEN 1 before but their quality seems to have gone down with the plastic seeming cheaper and creaky. I'm not sure if they are trying to go for a "lighter" version but they seem stiff and uncomfortable ear cushions. My 700 broke at the plastic with more than normal use. Has anyone else had the same experience with gen 2? I would like to know if they have changed. Thanks in advance

the 700 PS5/PS4 version in Blue is $53.96 (refurbished) with the same code. anyone that doesn't need Xbox should be jumping on this one ASAP before it sells out because that's a steal.

I was surprised and saw a Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 on clearance at a Target near me for $49.99 on Friday. I'll add a picture from Desktop. Brickseek didn't report this price, but it's also "not found" for my zip code. So extreme YMMV. That's why I didn't post it here.

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 207-00-8262 $49.99 Brickseek [brickseek.com]
Turtle Beach Recon 50P 207-00-0445 $17.49 Brickseek [brickseek.com]
Corsair HS60 207-00-0640 $20.99 Brickseek [brickseek.com]

All three of these come up as "No results found in the searched area." for the zip code of the Target store I was at.

for anyone interested in saving even more money on the 700 Max (because you just need that bluetooth connectivity and mobile app) you can just buy the non max versions (refurbished) and end up with 2 headsets and saving $45.05 in the process. both headsets come out to $134.91 + tax with the same code.

if only that HS60 was wireless but it's a steal for someone that is okay with wired.

Yup, I'm guessing it might have just been the individual store resetting a bunch of things, but I did end up taking the HS60 home.

i googled both Max versions and the 600 Max was released 9/18/22 and the 700 Max was released today so these headsets have only been released 0-14 days ago which means the only people who have had a chance to really test them out are the Youtubers and reviewers. the fact that they already have a sale means they are either bad and reviewers are lying or they are really good and TB just wants market share out the gate (i didn't see the 600 Max having a sale yesterday either).

the non max Gen 2 appear to have been released like 2 years ago.

This only takes 10 percent off which is just $19.99 discount....

That's nothing, the head phones are $199.99 which turns to $195.75 I don't know where this $179 discount they are speaking about here.
