Good deal, but do yourself a favor and skip out on this machine. I had one and after just a few uses, it had a ton of issues reading the barcodes rendering it useless. (It's a known issue for this machine). Grabbed a different model and I haven't had a single issue. Thank goodness their customer service is good.

invest in a good coffee maker like a breville or something, and it will pay for itself,
ive tried this coffee at their rodeo drive store, didnt like it at all, the .75 cents coffee from the bronx bodegas taste better

For anyone reading this, Ignore the sourpuss first couple of comments. I got this for my wife a couple of years ago and she drinks a coffee every day and loves it.

Just depends on the use case. I've got Breville Barista Express as well asn2 of these Vertuo (1 home, 1 office). Sometimes you just don't want to go through the whole grind, brew, froth and just use this as an easy fix-up. Coffee has never been bad for me. Even with expired pods.

But this definitely gets expensive.

Looking for one for the office thanks for the comments I will pass on this one, I will wait for costco to drop price or something else. I have the Phillis Saeco Xelsis for home and is the best machine ever (fully auto).

Not a sourpuss, just terrible quality. Maybe you are having a great experience, but I didn't and the tons of people who left awful reviews agree. Even the Nespresso rep was completely honest and said that they have had many exchanges from this machine to others.

Hope the comments are based on the machine in this OP, one that is made by and sub-branded by Breville. The ones made and branded by only Nespresso are more expensive.

This is a Nespresso branded machine. They don't really make their own, they licence and farm out the manufacturing to Breville, Krupps, DeLonghi, etc.

We got the Vertuo Plus 2 years ago which is the cheaper version and we are very happy with it. We thought we broke it this year from heavy use but it was just a simple troubleshoot that we found in youtube and it's working like new again. FYI the pods gets expensive so we suggest to just buy when they offer free sleeves or free item šŸ˜‰

I have one, it works great. Coffee is the best tasting I've had from a good machine. That said, the pods are very expensive so I stopped using it. It's sometimes over $1 a pod all things considered. I've never had an issue with a pod barcode not being read.
