If you have a family of 5 and all have computers and phones, thats 10 right there. Share with your relatives. Cheaper than the 3, 5 , 10 user version anyway.

All Norton products are like that. Just cancel auto renew once installed.

Have been using Norton 360 for the last 4-5 years, so not a hater but I have to say, the pop ups to upsell are getting ridiculous!!! That constant notification to buy other norton services is unreal, this is even with promotions turned off.
I like using the built-in vpn since it can help from time to time. This would be an instant buy for me but now I'm on the fence. I hear windows built in security is pretty good

I agree.
the Norton Popups are rediculous and super annoying. I've gone in and turned everything I could find regarding ads and popups off and still get some almost every day.

This annoyed me so much I decided to try out out Bitdefender. For almost 3 months, the number of popups were just as bad as Norton. So this is just an FYI if you are considering Bitdefender. I went back to Norton and it has been almost non-existent recently.

Who actually uses anti virus? That's so 10 years ago. People just use VPN's now. I guess there's always the old people.

Ya I'm scratching my head as to why people even need this? Windows Defender is good enough for 99% of the time. If you do have an issue, I'd much rather use one of the vetted and solid open source alternatives rather than rely on Norton.

With that said good antivirus/malware comes down to the user. Stay on the path and don't mess around in shady internet back alleys.
It's great for my mother who got scammed by a pop-up for lack of antivirus software. Stupid sewing websites 😑.

Was more pissed at my brother who was at home and college aged and didn't give two rips to tell her it's nothing to worry about and to close the window.

She spent $100 or some stupid amount on the phone. I couldn't believe it. She always asked me to help her with frivolous stuff on her computer and she said she didn't want to bother me this time, like I don't get back to her texts within a minute or two during the work day. My brother had been using an iPad mostly and basically gave her a couple minutes with his headphones to the side for assistance and proceeded to let her pay some Indian dude over the phone.

This is what Norton is for; to give us folks with parents that are mostly homebodies the peace of mind that their computer has protection from viruses and such.

Don't think I'll ever forgive my brother for that; like, seriously πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜‘πŸ‘Š.

Thanks for the heads up on Bitdefender, and you're right...I haven't seen that many lately either (still have 6 months left on this sub lol)

Good deal, paid $29.99 for Norton 360 Premium (10 licenses) from Amazon on 9/21/22. I waited closer to the renewal date to remove the auto-renew and Norton added another month to my subscription.

oh damn! family and friends! might have to be under one host IP though.
Most likely not. Cellular data will have a different IP per phone.

Holding out for a BF 40 devices deal, 20 is just never enough in our house.

Seriously, this product is garbage. Will never protect against a zero day exploit, which is really what everybody should fear. Microsoft already has you covered on the known attacks, and this Norton will be another process running in the background eating up your precious RAM, not to mention the added bloatware. Don't be the sucker!

So if it is garbage why are you putting it on 40 devices?
The catch with Windows Defender and the other built-in security tools and features in Windows is that you have to stick to Microsoft products. This means using Edge instead of Chrome or Firefox as your default browser, Microsoft Office 365 instead of Google Workspace or LibreOffice and Microsoft Teams instead of Slack or Zoom.

It does not matter, I installed it (remotely) on both my sisters, one lives in Colorado and the other lives in Oregon as well as my Mom's (SC) using the same key.

Get her a Chromebook. Did that for my MiL and all the calls about computer problems stopped.

says renews automatically, credit card required for activation and use.

guess you can cancel before it renews at full price.
You can replace the credit card with a virtual card or cash card with zero balance, so that you don't charged at the end of the year.
