I like using the built-in vpn since it can help from time to time. This would be an instant buy for me but now I'm on the fence. I hear windows built in security is pretty good

the Norton Popups are rediculous and super annoying. I've gone in and turned everything I could find regarding ads and popups off and still get some almost every day.
Norton = hot garbage

In my family of 4, we have 17 devices including phones, tablets, 5 laptops, two android TVs, a desktop, and a HTPC.
If anyone's interested here's a review of the product by pcmag

and the author , Neil.... if you click on his credentials they're rather impressive.
And yes absolutely do what people are saying in the other comments, norton will force you to enter a credit card to activate it which would turn off a lot of people... but I've had no problem at all going into the norton online account they have you create, disabling auto renew and then removing my credit card information.. I've done this with other norton products and as expected they cannot auto-renew (charge your credit card again ) when the current plan expires. It's really, REALLY important you do this though I've heard horror stories about people charged insane amounts by Norton who don't do this...
I know Mcafee does the same thing but you can easily remove auto renew and the credit card, I had a friend who did this who had to chat to an agent online but the agent didn't put up a fight

Note - We could add to current subscription for only "like products". Since I have 10 devices license, I cannot add it to my current license (which expires in Jun-2023).
I usually buy the 15 month Norton from Amazon either near Black Friday or cyber Monday or whatever day stuff is too late to ship for Christmas. I usually get a 15 month sub for 5-10 devices for $20. I just active whenever I feel like getting around to it sometime shortly after my sub ends.
I like Norton begging me for days on end with pop-ups telling me my sub has expired.

I don't really need it anyway, so I never messed with trying to get that resolved.
