Only storage devices of 3kWh or above qualify for the credit, this is only 1kWh - so the panel would be covered, but not the battery.
Not a simple comparison. Gas generators consume significant fuel even if the load is low. Small generators with 1 gallon capacity will consume a full tank in 8 hours even if you have no load on it. If you're using it for a refrigerator which uses less than 10 watts when the compressor is off but draws a few hundred watts to cool down at 1-2 hour intervals, your fuel efficiency per kWh will be terrible with all the idling losses.

The solar+storage equipment expenses included in the ITC have expanded. Now, energy storage devices that have a capacity rating of 3 kilowatt hours or greater are included. This includes stand-alone storage, but here's why you should pair it with solar.

1 kWh isn't going to last long compared to a generator. Assuming a gas powered generator operates at 30% efficiency, 1 gallon of gas produces about 11kwh of energy.
Might be useful for a solar van to run some lights and a mini fridge etc, but this is a lot of money to put out for some Chinese Amazon company.
Your 5 year warranty is going to last until Amazons holiday return window, which is Jan 31, 2023.
And that wouldn't really be level 2 charging, which appears to require 240v 40amp circuit (6.2 to 19.2 kW, with most chargers around 7.6 kW) according to https://evocharge.com/resources/t...-chargers/
