I do a lot of my own maintenance and so Advance Auto Parts speed perks has well…….some really good perks if you're Elite status (spend $500 per year). Another way to max this deal:

1) Use speed perks and if you're elite, earn 25% bonus rewards for oil changes. So $40 oil change bundle = 500 pts and a $5 rebate.
2) Also earn $.20 gallon off shell gas for every $50 you spend.
3) Also link thru a certain rebate site and earn $10 rebate on $60 purchase.

Soooo…..

1) Link thru rebate site
2) Buy 2 Pennzoil oil change bundles @ $39.99 each.

~$80 minus $10 rebate (RMN $10 off $60), minus $10 earned speed perks, minus $5 shell gas savings, minus $25 Pennzoil rebate = $30 net for 10 quarts and 2 filters.


FYI - If you buy your filters from Amazon they're around $10 apiece for my F-150 (purolator, Mobil or Fram) so while the oil is $14, with filter it becomes $34 total.

I learned the Penzoil "REBATE" game the same hard way. Yes they're CROOKS & SCUMS. Never buy any Penzoil brand without up front discounts.

Yeah, but only if you get lucky. Most folks who ordered got cancelled, incluidng myself…twice cancelled due to "discontinued products" (their word)

I did not get my rebate...not sure if worth the trouble.

Mobilone were better at processing rebate, these seem slow/incompetent/intentionally loosing.

One way to solve this, call out Pennzoil on Facebook. That will get their attention. Even though Pennzoil don't process the rebate, it's important to let them know the vendor the company uses is shady. I did that to Newegg once and it got their attention quick.

Walmart shop towel bundle hack from the link in 1st page still works. around $6-7 for 5 qt jug. Already got one order on the way from store. Not gonna bother with the rebate, but would be a steal of anyone want to take a step further and actually get the rebate to work,

Did you capture the confirmation code when you've submitted the claim? Their website is pedestrian but gives you accurate status.
For one submission, I had one of their acknowledgement emails sitting in junk and the other never received.
But got 4 rebates in the last 3 months at 2 addresses without fail

I did this recently, and received the GC emails within 4 weeks, from the Walmart deal

the first time i did not. never recieved an email or confirmation. so the second time i put it through i made sure i screen shotted every page and saved everything. still didnt get an email confirmation. im waiting the stated amount of time and ill reach out if i dont get anything, but im not holding my breath.
