Pros: Great price I hope it's a trend that continues. Manufacturers site states 5 year warranty but....
Cons: It's an Adata product. Do I want an Adata C drive? Probably not, these SSDs have a nasty habit of failing with little or no warning. This drive requires a heat sink, make sure your laptop can accommodate one and it gets sufficient air flow.
So if it's just a hobby or game system it's probably $140 of fun that hopefully lasts
This is pretty much the same as the Spectrix S40G but without the RGB and heat sinks. Look up the reviews of this as there aren't many reviews for this one.
This uses the Realtek controller which was the company's first effort in SSD controllers. It uses a very small DRAM (capacity not published) and its write speed is very inconsistent and almost never reaches the stated spec in most tests.
Adata nvme SSDs also seem to be associated with Windows instability in more than typical anecdotal reports.
I would buy the PNY CS3030 which has been cheaper than this one.
I have a XPG 512G few years back, it last 2 years. Bad news is it is C drive. My Samsung SSD 256G last 7 years and still be C drive for now.
