I'm looking for another SSD for my desktop PC. I want 1-2TB and could go with either NVME or 2.5". Dell has:
$110 [dell.com] WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD WDS100T3B0C - SSD - 1 TB = $80 [bestbuy.com] at BestBuy, so $20 savings, or 25% off.
$125 [dell.com] Samsung 870 QVO MZ-77Q1T0B 1 TB = $90 [amazon.com] at Amazon, so $15 savings, or 17% off
$135 [dell.com] WD Red SA500 NAS SATA SSD WDS100T1R0B - 1 TB - M.2 = $100 [bestbuy.com] at BestBuy, so $15 savings, or 15% off

So these products are $15-20 less than buying elsewhere, after the $50 credit. Fine if that's exactly the product you wanted, but nothing like 50% off that would make me pull the trigger.

Shame on me for not reading the terms, but had I kept it open 2 months longer, yes, I would've had a $95 annual fee, but kept the $300 credit resulting in a profit of $205.
They make it doubly confusing and weird, because if you upgrade the card to get a signup bonus, they use the anniversary of your original opening date of the card, and immediately charge you a pro-rated annual fee to finish up the "year". Then, on your anniversary date, it could be just a few months later, you are charged a full annual fee.

This confused me as I had a few cards and bonuses going, and didn't figure this out / track it closely. I saw that the annual fee was being charged and thought I had the card upgrade for a year, and that I could safely downgrade back down and keep my bonus. NOPE.

Something to confirm for the Xbox/Microsoft GCs is whether the offer terms excludes GCs. I think I've seen that before on other offers.

I'm not sure what the $120 off promo is, but if it's a code or from another site, what matters for the Amex offer is a charge from Dell on the card with the enrolled offer. It usually notifies you right away if you triggered the offer so if it doesn't you can probably cancel as well.

Edit: ok see the 120 off 600 Dell Amex offer for some cards— I've had multiple offers trigger before, last year for Dell also: a $ off and a % off.
