Amazon's meat storage conditions are awful, much too hot for this kind of food. Tons of mold in the jerky for almost every brand.

If packages are properly sealed, this shouldn't be an issue. The packages generally contain a desiccant. You know, that white thing in there that you aren't supposed to eat.

Just got my 12 packages from my earlier order. They look good. Has the dessicant and expiration is 08/09/2023

Edit: tastes great. Ordered another 12 since it allowed me to order another 12 as it didnt before.

If it was fresh beef, this would be about $2 a pound for beef taking dehydration into account

Seems high at first but that's for 3 sticks or 28g, which is pretty close to other snack stick types. Fat is higher than other brands but I like a bit of fat in my jerky.

Unless it's fluffy, most of that "white stuff" you see on jerky is just coagulated fat that often looks like mold. In for four of these.

I eat low carb and a lot of sodium. Yet every blood test I get my sodium is low. My dr. tells me to eat even more sodium.
