  2. Set up an account in the App
  3. Select 4 One-Way tickets and tap "Proceed to Checkout"
  4. Enter the promotional code FALLFRIENDS
  5. Tap your payment method of choice and purchase the tickets
  6. Your tickets will appear in the "My Tickets" section of the App
  7. Activate both tickets before boarding the train or bus

You can bring a friend when you "Buy One, Get One" standard four one-ways between the same origin and destination using code FALLFRIENDS in the app.

The code can only be used once per account.
Both tickets will be activated simultaneously and must be used the same day.
All tickets purchased using the promotion code expire and must be used by November 19, 2022.
Tickets are not transferable and there will be no refunds. Not valid for travel to/from Newark Liberty International Airport Station, SEPTA or Metro North Stations. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.

How to take advantage of this offer:

Get Started by downloading the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App!
Set up an account in the App
Select 4 One-Way tickets and tap "Proceed to Checkout"

So I used one ticket in the morning (while on the way to work) and another ticket in the evening (while returning home) and I still have 2 tickets which I can activate and only used tickets have expired and unselected tickets are still available for activation!!

And of course I waited for a day to post this reply after checking the status post 00:00 hours

Yes. As long as you are traveling the same route and can produce the ticket if asked. They don’t check once they stick the ticket stub in front of your seat.

I don't know how it works. Bring a friend means two tickets… while it forces you to buy 4 tickets and all of them will be activated together?

Not sure what they mean by "Both tickets will be activated simultaneously and must be used the same day." I just see 4 one way tickets that I can activate individually.

Tickets all expire Nov. 19

*Weird.... still got charged the full amount on my credit card, although the receipt clearly shows the discount.
