Best to wait until AMD announces their new cards, but it will likely be cards in the $500+ range with lower range cards coming later.
I'd agree though, the reviews don't look great until the software gets better. Although I was surprised and curious as to why Gamers Nexus completely ignored ray tracing in it's review.
Ray tracing is still two Generations away from native performance being properly viable without needing DLSS on NVidia, and Probably 3 Gens away on AMD. Intels RT stuff does look really promising, but the overall performance of these GPUS was such a let down i dont expect it to really make progress. The ARC 770 was supposed to be better then the 3070, yet it falls short of the 3060 or ties it. Its at least a start, but they have a lot to learn and get ready before they actually get any market share.
End of the day i want these products to succeed, more competition means better for us, but i refuse to be a beta tester for software and hardware when im paying full price for it when i can just buy one of the competitors products at the same or cheaper price (especially used since these cards are 1-2 years old now) with much more mature drivers and software, and support for older games that isnt broken.

The only reason I would buy a card is because of the hardware encoder for video editing streams ect... but most certainly not for games. They are simply not there yet.

Edit: I just tried a dBa meter on my phone an measured my computer's, and it says 50 dBa.. I always thought my computer is pretty quiet. Ambient noise in my room is 45.
