Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Pixel 6 pro should have at least get $600 trade in value.

I'm on the same boat.
I believe they do end but hopefully someone else can confirm.

If they do end then I'll keep my Pixel 6. With me buying a broken V50 to trade in and the extra $200 online deal I got last year during that time. I end up paying $10-$12 a month for service on a Family line for 5G Play More plan for the 24 months. Just had to pay for the Pixel 6 up front.

I figured for about $100 after the Store GCs and Cash Back since maybe you can stack Chase(Paypal) ? I would have upgraded to the 7. But not worth loosing $420 in credits since I paid the 6 in full.

I can wait for next year and see what deals come around with trading in the 6.

There was a Slickdeals about trading in a A71 5G phone for $50. On Verizon they give you $700 towards the $600 phone. You can actually buy 2 used A71 5G phones for $220 and upgrade with both phones for $1000 trade in credit.
Did that require being locked into a $70+/month plan for multiple years?

I'm already on Verizon and pay $200 for 5 phones. We do this every year and get last year's model free. Mother in law just got the S21 and brother in law just got a iPhone at no extra cost.

No Verizon has early upgrade. You have to pay half purchase price to upgrade early and in our case it's always been free phones because of trade ins.

And then you lose the remaining credits?

The only thing you lose is whatever extra money you make on your trade in. I currently make around $2 a billing cycle and once I trade it I'll lose that and get whatever profit I make on the new trade. But I currently got 3 new phones this way a S21, Pixel 6, and whatever iPhone my brother in law just got.

Wife currently has a Pixel 3 that is dying, but is still in perfect condition. I've got a Pixel 6 that I had to get in January because my Pixel 3 bricked in EDL mode.

Considering the following:
-599 = purchase Pixel 7 for wife
+247 = trade in of her pixel 3
+100 = credit from Google Store
-599 = Pixel 7 for me
+440 = trade in for my Pixel 6
------------------------------------------
-411 (plus tax) for 2x Pixel 7.

Basically she gets a Pixel 7 now and when her credit hits she buys the second Pixel 7 using the credit and my phone as a trade in. This does assume that the trade in for my Pixel 6 stays constant to when her phone ships

If only the Google Store credits were actually useful, would be an excellent deal truly!

Yeah, everything on the Google Store is overpriced compared to deals on those items. Going to pass. BestBuy credit is a bit more useful. Amazon is the best, but don't think they have trade in bonuses.

400 for a pixel 5 is pretty damn good. I went for it. A used pixel 5 is probably worth 200

For anyone thinking about signing up for Google One 2TB plan in order to get the 10% discount, be careful, you might not get it on this deal. When I looked at signing up, it was giving me a free trial month, then $9.99/mo after. However, there is an asterisk/clause on the signup page that says you will NOT get the bonus credit during the trial period. I read that as, no 10% discount until month two. Unless the free month is targeted for me, I don't think anyone who isn't already signed up for Google One will get the 10% discount right away.
I noticed it also. 10% store credit is only given after you paid some $ for the subscription. I signed up the 2TB plan with the intention to get 10% store credit, but got the 30 day free trial offer. I then upgraded it to the next level $24.99 5TB plan. It immediately charged me, and give me 42 day 5TB (12 days converted from the free 30 day). I then immediately downgraded the plan back to 2TB plan, next payment is Jan 24. I probably will cancel it by then or downgrade to even cheaper plan. I then ordered the 7pro. $89.90 store credit showed up Applause in the check-out.
