Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Actually, they want to poach iPhone users by offering more for their phones. That's how you gain market share. That said, doubt many will do it.

I did LMAO Google Fi 5G won't work on iPhone... also, iPhone ( t-mobile ) network switching kinda suck while we were in Europe last summer.

Yup, iPhones get better trade-in values than Android devices as Apple has the most market share for others to steal so they incentivize folks getting into the Android ecosystem. And once you are used to an Android device (In the US it's Google or Samsung for the most part), you are more likely to switch between Android manufacturers.

My GF is a typical example, she got a great trade-in on an old iPhone and has a Samsung S22 now because it was only $200 out the door vs. full-price iPhone prices. She now complains of the poor battery life, though I told her such a small phone (she wanted a small form factor) would affect battery life. Bash

Going forward she may end up with a Pixel device, who knows?!
