Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Pixel 6 pro should have at least get $600 trade in value.

I mentioned that to them that I used Google Pay online for a few transactions, and wanted to verify if I would be getting the 5% CB on them since the transactions were being classified as "ONLINE" rather than "GOOGLE PAY" on the Discover Portal. They then asked which transactions I was asking about, in which i mentioned my recent online purchases on Ebay and Google Store. They then put me on-hold for about 20 seconds to double-check the terms, and then came back and said I should be getting it and they don't see any reason why I wouldn't be, and that it should be popping up after the billing cycle. They'll leave a note on my account that I'll be calling back for it to be fixed if I don't see it added after my next billing cycle.
Update Here on Discover if this helps anyone. The Google Pay with Discover DID NOT reflect after my billing cycle. Gave them a call and I got redirected 3 times until I got to a manager, and they went ahead and manually added the 5% without any issue. Keep in mind every single Customer Service Representative was really nice and kind about it and helpful, and did not pushback about it at all, so please be nice when you call-in and ask for assistance.

I continue to have fp reader issues. Judging from the very active Reddit threads with multiple people voicing frustrations, it's not uncommon to say that the fp reader is not good. I say that as a Nexus and pixel loyalist since Galaxy Nexus. The rear fp reader of days past was far superior, whether it be speed or accuracy of the read
why the hell didn't they just go with a fingerprint reader on the power button?

My guess is there are too many people who want to use a phone case and that would be a limiting factor. I really wish the rear fp sensor would've made a comeback. Fast, reliable, easy, proven. The fp sensor is the only thing I absolutely hate on the p7

Because they want to improve fingerprint reader every year since we are running out of things to improve.

Power button fingerprint reader is scheduled for 2030.

The FP reader is bad. With or without screen protector. I have a Pixel 6, Pixel 6a and Pixel 7. I don't see any improvement in the FP sensor on Pixel 7. It works about as well as Pixel 6a and very slightly better than Pixel 6.

The accuracy of the FP reader on the P7 is less than 50 percent for me. Try to use the face unlock during the day. With the unimpressive screen and the lag in scrolling, haven't been too happy with the Pixel 7.
FP reader works great on my P7, much better than P6. Face recognition works great too, so usually I don't need to provide fingerprint. I'm not using a screen protector.

Anyone else's P7 fingerprint sensor seem to be infuriatingly inaccurate? With glass screen protector on, I get maybe a 50% work rate. The fingerprints were enrolled with the TGSP on, and I have screen protector mode on in the display settings.
Take the glass off, with a glass protector even my s22 which is one of the best FP reader works 50%, after I remove the glass and got a amFilm 2 Pack Hybrid Screen Protector, the s22 is 99%.
Pixel 7 has a lesser FP reader unlikely glass will work

I actually don't have any issue with my 6a or 7 FP reader they both able to unlock 95% of the time

Looked for said hybrid screen protector for the p7. Is it the flexible one you're referring to? If so, I can only seem to find it for the p7pro. Only regular tgsp available for the p7

Trade-in accepted...a success story!

Was worried for a bit as USPS tracking still shows arriving late, but Google confirmed receipt 5 days ago. Just now got the confirmation that they accepted my Pixel 3 in stated condition and will be receiving the $250 refund back to my card. Phew! Good luck everyone!

I am worried about my trade-in. USPS tracking still shows (from Oct 24)

"Moving Through Network

In Transit, Arriving Late

Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

"

I know there are others in the same boat. Is there a way to check whether it is delivered or not? I did not get any email or credit for this trade-in.

Mine shows the same status "In transit, Arriving Late 10/31" and no updates for today. It originally had expected delivery on 10/28.

Same here. The package made it from the East Coast to Nashville where I suspect there is a bottleneck of sorts. Smilie

One of my two trade-in was acknowledged and credited a week ago. The tracking is still showing "In transit, Arriving Late". So this is just how they do it.

My trade-in was accepted yesterday and see pending credit transaction today in my CC account. Trade-in was mailed on 10/17. Big relief.
