- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

Pixel 7 Pro 256GB would cost me $560.16 out the door with Google. Granted they don't try and screw you over with the trade in value by saying something is wrong with your phone.
Pixel 7 Pro 256GB would cost me $815.16 out the door with BB. The do include $200 GC. The only thing with this option is, BB knows they'll get the money back, so you end up spending more in the long run.
I requested they e-mail me the chat transcript and once I have a copy I'll go to a store and see what's up. I think you can do this deal through Google till the 12th and they're offering $350 for the 5a.
