According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. 1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

I have used iPhones faithfully since gen 2. My wife uses Android faithfully. We were on vacation recently driving through multiple states in Midwest (TN, KY, IL, IN). My iPhone 13 often struggled to receive and maintain a 5g signal on T-Mobile (One Plus), while my wife's S22 Ultra totally rocked it.
I was so frustrated that once home, I switched. Traded in a $250 s21 for s22+ at BB. Selling my iPhone 13. Pocketing the extra cash. Win.
