- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

I want to do trade-in in person to confirm I'm getting the expected value and hopefully use a giftcard for some of the balance, but I don't have my trade-in phone in hand yet.
Would be nice to do the pre-order now through the website to hold my spot earlier, and before any potential drop of trade-in prices, if I was sure the rest of my plan would go smoothly.

In case if you don't pickup within pickup window (10 days I believe) they'll cancel the order and refund the full amount.

My initial impression is that it's faster than my pixel 6. It's a little snappier in everything and the fingerprint sensor is way better. It also feels lighter. Screen is brighter but I didn't have a problem before. The phone is slightly smaller but the screen goes closer to the edges. I feel like the size is perfect but some people like having the biggest phones. For some reason the touch screen just feels more responsive or instantly reactive to touches. I am on mint and it works fine. All I did was swap sim cards.
Fyi I am someone that had no issues with the pixel 6 and was happy with it. I upgraded because of the deal. I am happy with the 7 so far.
