Trade-in value notes:
- In states CA (please add more), tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo).
- In states NJ, NY, tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal).
- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

For pixel to pixel and most android, the usb c to usb c transfer is pretty fast. Use the given cable to link up and it took like 5 minutes for me to transfer the apps. Only the login you must remember your password or use google to store password.
Traded with Pixel 7 in BB for ~480
GC = 100$
Total = 80$ for upgrade
Paid with Paypal for 12$ offer and waiting for Chase Freedom 5% back.
Based on how taxes and total value calculated, I am thinking about 30$ for an upgrade looks great deal.
Any tips on how to wipe data on my P4 before handing it over to BB?

just trying to get all the backed up photos/videos ect from google 1 is not as easy as i thought it would be, maybe im doing it wrong.
$599 - $250 discount = $349
$349 plus tax minus $70 gift card = $307.79
I used the $100 BB gift card to buy a Google rapid charger with cable on sale for $30.99 and a Google Pixel Stand (2nd gen) for $79 while I was at the store. I do not have a habit of shopping at BB so I wanted to use the gift card right away.
The CS at BB transferred all my data and apps from the 4a to the 7.
I bought a Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Pixel 7 Case at Amazon for $16.14 which arrived today. The Pixel stand works great with the phone in the case. No issues whatsoever charging the phone. The stand is great to keep the phone charged at the office all day at the automated charge speed setting. Got the rapid charger for travel.
Plus I got an e-mail from Google Fi - which I have used for two years now - saying that I qualify for a 3-month bill credit. That would be an extra $60 value at least.
So after all discounts, gift cards, and bill credits, I got the Pixel 7 for $119 plus some tax. Not a bad deal at all.
The Pixel 7 has worked great so far. No issues with overheating, restarting, etc. I already downloaded an update from Google.
Now 966 - 545( trade in p6 pro) = 421 + 200 BB gift card.
