Did the refund automatically show up on your cc right away? Mine still shows the full $646 I believe.
I picked up yesterday, I'll give 2-3 days for the refund to show up

I just read an article says "Google sells two different models of the Pixel 7 in the US — GVU6C and GQML3 — out of which only one supports both Sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G. The GQML3 is the one that supports both 5G networks and you can either purchase it unlocked or from Verizon and AT&T in the US". Unfortunately, the one I bought "unlocked" from BB is GVU6C.

That's one thing I don't like android phones. All newer iPhones are the same at least in the US market, but you have to look into detail models of android phones that some support certain features but others don't.
The only US pixel 7 with mmwave is the att or verizon carrier branded versions. The unlocked does not have it. All the p7 pros have the mmwave though.

Order shipped with OnTrac, marked as delivered (10:34pm) but not at front door when I checked. Be aware if your order is shipped from OnTrac.

BB has a weird way of showing discounts. online it breaks it down but in store with the paper work it doesn't.

printed PW shows
sub total $230
promotions applied $0
total $230

online shows final total being charged to the card $151.28

also received both gift cards in my email less then 10 mins after the transaction was complete.

Lol, thank you to both posters who responded to me but I think both answers contradicted one another. One person said what I've seen others report, in that one portion is deducted from the phone price, the tax is calculated on the remainder, and then the other portion of the trade in is deducted last after everything. The other person said it's all deducted first, then tax is calculated. So I'm still confused, lol.

Trade in value = Bonus + Gift card

The bonus amount is applied to the phone as a coupon, so it lowers the price of the phone. Taxes are calculated on this lower price, and the gift card portion of the trade in is applied. So if you return the phone, you get the gift card portion of the trade in then applied, but since the sale price of the phone is lowered by the bonus trade in value, you don't get that back.

As an example, the bonus trade in value for an iPhone 11 is $300, and the gift card value is $190 for a total trade in value of $490. You save taxes on the $300 bonus value, not the entire $490.

When you order online, you pay the full price of the phone plus tax. After trading in the phone, you get refunded the bonus trade in value + tax + Gift card trade in portion.

Was on the fence about upgrading from a 6 Pro but saw they had one in stock at my local Best buy and went for it. The deal seems to be better than anticipated. $545 trade in but $295 was applied pre-tax. Also decided to switch to Fi at the same time not knowing that this offer was on: https://9to5google.com/2022/10/12...google-fi/ just got an email from Fi saying I would get a credit. I was surprised they wanted to do the trade in there and then which meant I had to stay for close to 3 hrs before everything was transferred over (including Google authenticator etc after all apps were installed)... So far so good, was a bit concerned about how hot and laggy the phone was getting in the first day with all the installing - will see how it does today now it's fully charged and set up.
The tiv for 6pro is still 545? I thought it's 500 now at bb

Thank you for clarifying! So there's two listed credits: "trade in device" and "trade in promotion" that add up to the total TIV. Is it the "trade in promotion" that is the bonus amount you're referring to that is deducted first?

Yes, the promotion is the bonus/coupon amount. The trade in device value is the gift card amount that they apply to the transaction just like a regular gift card.

The promotion amount is what has resulted in the super inflated trade in values. It is sort of a "conquest" that Google is paying to acquire or keep customers.

Well they didn't do a very good job. Mine is going on Swappa as soon as I get my gift card and trade in refund.

Is the trade in promo value only for specific phones? I do not see any promo for GS10+. Just gives $85 but Google store gives $340 trade in value. Looks like this trade in deal from BB stops with Note 10+.

You need to add something else greater than your gift card, apply it first without fully checking out. Add phone and trade in, remove item you don't want, then check out.
Thanks for the tip nwtian. I was able to order online and use gift cards by following nwtian's instructions. I picked up and trade-in instore, and I received correct trade-in amounts and the bonus $100 Pixel 7 GC. I also double checked my original GC used for this order, and it showed the correct deduction and remaining balance. This is an amazing way to use BB GCs instead of keep accruing them. Of course, you can always order from the store and use BB gift cards to pay; this way is slightly easier.

Likely varies by state. In CA where I made the purchase, I did not get a refund on the base trade in value. So for XR, I got tax refunded on the 300, not the 120.
