According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

As an aside, I purchased the 3 pack of amFilm glass screen protectors, and they seem to work decently. On the first phone I setup the fingerprint reader works very well without having to turn on the increased sensitivity. On the other two phones though I had to turn on the increased sensitivity before it worked more reliably. Still have some failed scans but works well enough. Getting new screen protectors and cases added to the cost of swapping from P6 to P7, but still worth it to keep the value from the P6 purchase for sure.

Just got P7. I like the size, build quality, stock smoothness and camera etc..
But the screen is inferior to any Samsung flagship (S20 and after), it's very warm (almost like night mode is on), washed out, not sharp, and doesn't get very bright. This is how P6 also looked. P6P screen is much better and almost on par with S21 ultra (bit less bright). Google put the screens based on the price of these models.
I have P7P coming today and I expect the screen would be on par with Samsung flagship.

i didn't get a receipt but a print out saying the total was $230. E gift card showed up in my email less then 10 mins after i left the store.
CC was processed today for $151 X2. so everything discount wise worked out
