- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

For an online trade-in - other than the 100$ BBY eGC -
Would the full TIV (230$+ promo 250$) be refunded to the original payment method?
Or is it just 230, and 250 promo as BBY GC/eGC?
Or the entire 480 TIV as BBY GC/eGC?

I have two orders that are going to be a few days apart for pickup. I was hoping to use the gift card received from finalizing the first order towards payment for the second order. Will they let me apply it when I go to pick up the second order or would I have to just place a new second order after I get the gift card from the first one in order to use it?
I want to trade in my S22U for a normal pixel 7, but even the larger version is 20 dollars shy.
I wouldn't mind saying the screen is damaged, but even that is 6 dollars over on the 128.
I don't even care if I get the excess as credit. I just want to straight swap.
