I think there will be a lot of these available.

And this is just a tactic to convince a lot of people who wouldn't install a smart speaker, to buy a TV with a built-in, always listening, Alexa device instead.

Add it to your wishlist. Alexa will notify you with a yellow light 24 hours before deal goes live. Once that happens ask Alexa to buy it once it goes live. You don't have to track when it goes live.

I get that people might be frustrated but some of the posts here are a little aggressive to OP. I have been following this thread for days and saw the Amazon blog post linked repeatedly on here. I know there were a lot of posts on this thread to wade through, but it was there nonetheless.

Please stop making a fuss because you missed a deal.
The deal was real. It went live at 9AM EST and was sold out in like 2mins.
Some people got waitlisted, and then were able to complete a transaction.

It is ridiculous to start venting that the deal is not real just because you missed it.

Many users including myself saw it go live as a Lightning deal. I hesitated to complete the transaction as I don't want a 50inch tv... Like many users, here I saw it go live.
If you missed it please don't cry over spilt milk and simply wait for the next deal.
