I think there will be a lot of these available.

And this is just a tactic to convince a lot of people who wouldn't install a smart speaker, to buy a TV with a built-in, always listening, Alexa device instead.

Add it to your wishlist. Alexa will notify you with a yellow light 24 hours before deal goes live. Once that happens ask Alexa to buy it once it goes live. You don't have to track when it goes live.

The Hisense 50" was posted by the same OP as this 55" Amazon Fire TV. The Hisense 50" deal was confirmed, and the price was accurate; I did get one. I am not sure why everyone acts like the OP is making things up cause this is also most likely a legit deal. Thanks very much to OP! Without the OP, I would not have gotten anything.

The question is, did it go live today for this 55" Amazon Fire TV? Will it go live tomorrow? Or did Amazon pull it, and it won't go live?

All retailers do this. They sell X amount at a minimum profit or sometimes even at a loss in order to draw customers. They can't sell the entire inventory at that price though unless it's closeout.

I couldn't buy the hisense it was available at 159, but by the moment I went through clicking buying they were all gone.
