Would this be good for removing floor tiles? They come up easily with pry bar and hammer but looking to remove 1000 SQ ft

Yes. Set it to hammer and put a flat blade bit in it let the tile chips fly. Oh, and safety glasses 🫣

Would this replace my hammer drill or is this something I need in addition to the hammer drill? Trying to see if this rotary hammer drill is necessary for 5/32 holes in masonry or installing safety pool fence (5/8 drill bits).
it'll be a lot faster and easier than using hammer drill.

Glasses and gloves. Broken tiles are sharp. Learned the hard way.

A rotary hammer is the tool to drill through concrete or brick effectively. A hammer drill can do it, but the rotary hammer is the right tool.

This thing will drill 5/32 holes in concrete with ease. Much quicker than a hammer drill. If you have a lot of holes to drill, or wider diameter, definitely grab it. The difference is night and day. I have a kobalt hammer drill and wouldn't bother picking it up for masonry work over this (feels about the same weight, just longer but gives you better leverage)

One of the review says this, anyone know of this issue? Or is this inherent to battery operated hammer drills for concrete or does this required high capacity batteries like 6ah or 9ah:

"I bought this drill today with high hopes to drill holes in my existing concrete slab to place rebar. I only got three 6" deep holes out of two DCB207 batteries before both batteries over heated and were drained. It's my first time using a hammer drill so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. Before the batteries over heated and drained the drill worked wonderfully. But with 12 more holes to go and only getting 3 every couple hours after waiting for the batteries to cool and charge doesn't seem worth it yet."

DCB207 is worst battery that you can use with so power hungry tool as rotary hummer. You need at least 4Ah batteries and bigger is better.

According to Walmart the DCB207 battery is only 1.3Ah. I've a 2Ah battery on a drill and that seem to last forever but not on a power hungry tool.

On a side note, I was able to order early this morning before going to bed and I already received the shipping notice. They are shipping via USPS if anyone is interested in knowing.
