Dont get me wrong I like my instapot for certain things, but it takes a long time to get to a pressurized state. Meanwhile, I can have hardboiled eggs done in less than 10 minutes on a stove. I doubt the instant pot will even start to count down in 10 minutes.

The quality of IP accessories (vs. non-brands) is usually very good.

How easy to peel depends on the eggs more than anything, and soaking in ice for a long time.

What about longevity in the fridge? That's what we do with ours - cook maybe 10 or 12, keep in fridge and kids eat them as snacks or for breakfast. I wonder if "easier to peel" translates into "more permeable to microbes".
The one big issues with IP is the time it takes to heat, boil and pressurize. If you're cooking a roast, say, the "soak time" under pressure might be 45 min but it will take 20 just to get there with preheating and pressurization.
Meanwhile, stovetop eggs are done in 7 minutes from rolling boil, ice bath, fridge.
