*All customers on an AT&T/T-Mobile based sim have until the end of 2024 to switch to a Verizon based sim, customers who don't will need to find a new provider as your Tracfone brands T-Mobile/AT&T service will be discontinued by end of 2024.

Some people mention a bad replacement screen on reconditioned TF iPhones - I didn't notice any issues with screen.
In August I got another reconditioned XR with $50 off promo (6000 TF rewards points) primarily as a backup for kids when they will eventually break their iPhones. The screen felt a little laggy on that one, not sure if this is due to replacement screen. Battery health still 100%

"If you have an iPhone and utilize the TracFone network, after 60 days of active TracFone subscription, your iPhone will be automatically unlocked. However, this only applies if you purchased the TracFone iPhone after November 23, 2021."
You can easily turn around and sell it after that for $150-175 and get your money back with a small profit to boot. No risk here really.
(BTW - how do you tell it is unlocked? short of putting a new sim card?)

1. Would this work for safelink wireless account immediately? Safelink is owned by Tracfone IIRC.

Also I forgot to mentioned last time - all reconditioned devicesthat I got from TF: 2 Xr, 1 iPhone 11, and bunch of Androids were mint/like new without a single scratch
