Open box excellent is available for $151 for me. YMMV.
I love my moto g power 2020. Not a problem with it yet.
The visible offer is still showing on my end

This is, like all Motorola phones, is a horrible waste of your money. I'm writing this on one and the only handsets I've hated more have been my other motorolas - the G Power plus. Horrible touchscreen/OSK tech, lots of ghost inputs, very buggy and pathetic performance. Wife also hates hers. I've gone through three just because budget dictated and each time I've wished I either just saved for something that works reliably or just gone back to a dumb flip phone. Save your money.
Can't side with you on this one. They don't always have the best cameras, but the vanilla Android experience is probably my favorite part about their phones. They're def no iPhone or Galaxy, but one for the better brands in the budget department. I've had issues here and there, but have been happy with most of the Motorola phones I've had and I've been using them since the Moto G3.

Bought my wife one of these phones recently from Amazon Warehouse deals for $150. It's a great phone except for no wireless charging, meh camera, and IPS screen (not Amoled). It's big and heavy but that's too be expected for $200 or less. Also, don't expect any Android upgrades or regular security patches with Lenovo/Motorola

Right, I had no problem finding it with the new phone, but wondering if it works with open box? I have open box excellent available for $151, another $20 savings would be great

I bought this phone last year brand new for $330. By now this discount price is what the phone should cost today. I would wait for a better deal.

I've known numerous people, myself included, that would say Motorola/Lenovo has quality control issues. Consistent quality is not the company's strong point. Specs for what you get for your money is good, but a risk you get a lemon.

I have a Moto E4, Z Play, Z2 Play, G Power, G Stylus, and G Pure.

I haven't had a single one die on me to this day. I must be the luckiest Moto user.

How much should I worry about my current phone no longer getting security updates? I've got the Moto G Stylus 2020. It works fine, I'm happy with it, but it stopped getting updates months ago. I was planning on buying a new phone for that reason alone. Seeing people on here talk about keeping their old phones makes me wonder if it's really much of a risk?

Looks like this Ace only gets updates until this coming January, so it wouldn't work as a replacement for me anyhow, if I'm buying just to secure a supported device. Still curious how important people think those updates are.
This is the reason why I won't get another Moto phone. Most of these Moto deals are on phones that are out of support or soon out of support. It's fine if you use them as wi-fi only small tablets/remotes, like I do with my G Power 2020. After Z2 Force, no more.

What do you use now? What alternative has similar specs and price?

Flip 3, and iPhone before that. Don't really care about Moto once they abandoned Z2 Force.

Edit spelling.

I wish I knew that, too. Some of the motos now have 3 years support, so that's probably what I'll go for if there's a good price drop. The Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 has 3 years of security updates, so there'll be a decent amount of support left if it has a good sale price anytime soon. It's $299 now on Amazon, but these phones can have a big price drop out of the blue, so I'm keeping an eye on it.

This phone is pretty sweet. Picked up for my father-in-law and he is really liking it. It's pretty fast for $200.

I've been using this phone on Google Fi since January.. probably don't use it as much as the average Joe – it replaced a LG flip phone used for the previous 10 years – but use it often enough and find a full charge lasts nearly 3 days.
