The one sold in Costco has 980mg of Omega3, this one has 350mg, currently $16 with warehouse discount.

Fun fact: This term derives from chinese railworker immigrants in the 1800s who brought it over with them and took it for joint pain and anti-inflammatory properties due to its, you guessed it, high omega-3 content. The colloquialism that we now use "snake oil" comes from the sheisters who saw this, and then made fake copies of snake oil and tried to sell them as if they were as good as the real thing.

so yes, you are absolutely right, this is just like snake oil

This didn't work for me for the fish oil tablets. I got the 40% and S&S discount, but for some reason it picked up the one-time purchase of $19.99 even though I clearly checked the S&S box for $16.99. I went back through the process again with the same result.

Never had this happen before.

I think the S&S discount is what takes the $19.99 to $16.99 (that's a 15% discount for me). So I think it's right. I also saw $19.99x2 as my price, but had $6 S&S discount. So my total was $2x$20 = $40 - $20BOGO - $6 15%(for me) S&S - $8 40% discount = $6 for me.

If you only had 5% S&S (vs 15%), your total would be $4 more, so $10.

I combined this with the Discover card promo and payed $0 for 720ct! After coupons it was $4.99, promo credit completely cover that amount.
