Managed to snag 720ct of Fish Oil for $5.99!

That's such a good deal, thanks OP!
Fun fact: This term derives from chinese railworker immigrants in the 1800s who brought it over with them and took it for joint pain and anti-inflammatory properties due to its, you guessed it, high omega-3 content. The colloquialism that we now use "snake oil" comes from the sheisters who saw this, and then made fake copies of snake oil and tried to sell them as if they were as good as the real thing.

so yes, you are absolutely right, this is just like snake oil

Seems like a good deal for the fish oil. I'm taking Now Brand with 500mg DHA and 250mg EPA. I aslo take D3 + K2. Don't know why you would need calcium + D3.

Why use inferior fish oil when algae oil is so much better? Look up iwilife algae oil. Legit product.

Because even if we believe that company's claims, it's still an extraordinarily worse deal than buying fish oil.

They claim 50% better absorption than fish oil, and they claim EPA is basically the only one that matters.
Each pill has 250mg of EPA, and a bottle contains 30 pills for $30.40.
That's 250mg*30pills=7500mg/$30.40= 246.7mg/$
Let's assume the 50% better absorption is real and credit them with 50% more EPA. Now it's:
7500mg*1.5absorption/$30.40= 370.1mg/$

Compare that with Nature's Bounty online from Costco. 130 pills with 647mg EPA for $23.99 gives:
647mg*130pills=84110mg/$23.99= 3506mg/$

So buying that product would cost almost 10 times as much to get the same amount of EPA absorbed versus buying Nature's Bounty fish oil online from Costco. And that's not even the cheapest you can get fish oil for.

Seems like buying that algae oil is a terrible choice.
