Whether its an iMac or an ipad, it doesn't make sense to buy either items if they don't at least have an M1 chip.

if you want a deal on an ipad pro model that hasn't gotten a lot discounts, this is a good chance at a good price before black Friday comes around.
The specs in this 2021 ipad probably are still very good, even compared with the upcoming models thanks to the M1 chip. Plus you need at least the m1 chip for a bunch of new features released in OSX and iPadOS 16.
The big feature in the next 12" ipad pro is the screen itself, but many posters dont think the 11" will be getting that updated. So just getting the M1 chip to keep up with the new iPadOS 16 features for a few hundred less is a good deals.
