Burn in on recent released oleds is a total non issue
Not actually true, search youtube for examples of burn in on every recent model, it still happens with people who view enough static content as many hours as I do every day.
This or wait for an BF OLED deal for a home theater?
In the same boat but tired of waiting. 77" OLED in the past has never been the prime size for BF deals. This came out to just over $1400 with tax for me. 30 day return isn't great but eventually you just have to pull the trigger and at this price it's hard to go wrong.
I have been debating between 85" x95j and 77" G2 but this price is too damn good I was trying to get the 85" for 3k so 75" for 1300 was a no brainer. For an always in use living room TV for the family this is the one I jumped on.

No it does not. ABLand pixel shifting totally eliminates the burn in problems.
Those youtube examples are from years ago or just phony.
Consult major reliable news channels. Not ones that reinforce your preconvience ideas.
And if you were so concerned. Why did you buy an oled ????

This is a very good tv.its a successor to the 900f series.
I have a 86 900f. It still looks amazing.
But its not a oled. My 83 c1 looks mind boggling - once you have seen true blacks, you never go back.

That said I own 2 tcls, totally satisfied with their performance versus price ratio - at the time I purchased them.
At the time key words. Time value of your enjoyment of a product.
Technology always improves. Waiting for it to be perfect and dirt cheap is a fools errand.
That said NEVER BUY A TV BASED ON ITS INTERNAL INTERFACE.
That pontificate.
In 3 years the internal apps will be unsupported.
Your TV will be perfectly fine picture wise, you will just be watching it via an external 50 dollar streaming box.
